THREAD:81 ID:81New free tool for rendering and image work... ImageBuddy...Just released a new tool this afternoon. It's called ImageBuddy and it is a batch image editing program for Windows. Drag-and-Drop several images on ImageBuddy and manipulate each image with several parameters including: scale, crop, blur, rotate, flip, negate, solarize, equalize and more. Change between several image formats on the fly. An essential tool for any render farm no matter how big or small. ImageBuddy needs a manual so please be patient, but it gives a chance for beta testers to take it for a spin and see how she runs. Suggestions are always helpful during beta so let er rip.

THREAD:81 ID:82RE:New free tool for rendering and image work... ImageBuddy...ImageBuddy has a new installer prototype made to work with all our 3d tools. Feedback using the ImageBuddy installer is strongly encouraged. Please, if you have the time, let us know how the installer did for ImageBuddy. Note, ImageBuddy is a Windows only tool.

THREAD:81 ID:85Now with AVI support...ImageBuddy can now convert a series of images into an AVI file. The AVI file is not compressed at this time. But you can use other movie programs to convert the uncompressed AVI into your favorite streaming format. I use uncompressed because i don't want my frames ruined until i get it to my final format. The conversion process is all thanks to a free tool called bmp2avi on the internet. Sadly, the authors page is no longer available but was able to find a copy in google. The bmp2avi readme is included in ImageBuddy 1.02 and greater.

THREAD:81 ID:86Drag-N-Drop Folder...ImageBuddy is limited to the amount of files passed during the initial drag-n-drop phase. To fix this problem, ImageBuddy now allows folders to be dropped onto the tool. So, for best results, if you are editing more that say 50* images, drag the folder which holds the images onto ImageBuddy. (*The limit is a total characters limit not a file number limit).
