____ Synopsis ________________________________________________________________

PoserPorter is a stand-alone program owned and developed by 3dtrue.com. 
PoserPorter has dual functions. 

One function, is a Poser content importer. Runtime zip archives can be dropped 
on the program and the program will extract all of the files automatically to 
their proper location inside up to three seperate Poser runtime folders 
on your computer.

PoserPorter also serves as a content exporter which can manufacture and package 
a fully functioning Poser zip archive which you can sell freely to others, or 
offer generously as a free download for all to use. With the exporter, you just 
select a Poser Runtime folder and hit export.

____ System Requirements _____________________________________________________

To use PoserPorter you must have the following:
Windows Operating System: Win NT, Win2000, XP or greater
8 megs of available RAM
3 megs of free disk space

____ Installation ____________________________________________________________

Install PoserPorter by downloading the zip archive and unzipping to your desktop. 
In the desktop folder PoserPorter, double-click the "PoserPorter Installer" icon 
to begin installation. If you use other 3dtrue.com tools, we strongly recommend 
you install PoserPorter in the default folder "c:\Program Files\3dtrue".

____ Running PoserPorter ______________________________________________________

PoserPorter is a stand-alone program which can be launched by double-clicking 
the poserporter executable file ("poserporter.exe"). If you choose to install 
shortcuts, you can also launch PoserPorter by double-clicking any the following 
shortcuts:
<li>Desktop > PoserPorter
<li>Windows Start Menu > PoserPorter
<li>Windows Start Menu > All Programs > 3dtrue > PoserPorter

PoserPorter uses templates to generate a ReadMe File, FileList and License file 
for you. Look in the "templates" folder created inside the PoserPorter folder 
and you can customize a readme and licensing file to your liking. 
These files inside templates go inside every archive you generate.
